Risk Assessment

When using any equipment even a basic camera it is important to look at the risk assessment to reduce the change of injury to those involved in the film making.
There will be a lot of potential physical hazard when filming such as car parks, near main roads, parks with dogs, any raised areas. Making parts of the film which are ICT based will require regular breaks to rest eyes and have a stretch to avoid muscle cramps.
Making sure that equipment is set up correctly can prove vital to avoiding injury, checking a camera stand is set up and secure will avoid the risk of it falling over onto a nearby person.
Having a check lift of people on the filming site will make it clear how many people should be in any particular spot at one point making sure there is enough space for these people. over crowding can cause pushing and lead to people falling onto hard surfaces.

CD Cover Back Side

I have used a silver colour as it stands out well and looks smart. I have left a lot of space only putting the least amount of detail possible so that it is eye catching. The CD cover displays clearly the song title and the song. I have used large font so that it is possible to see the CD cover from far away.

Treatment

I intend to make a video that's soul focus is on the title of the song. I will do this by demonstrating time and change. I will do this by editting my filming to make it faster. I will be filming mostly the weather and how it changes. I will use clouds, the wind, trees and grass. I will for example film some clouds and then edit this so that when it is watched back the clouds appear to move really fast.
My video will have one actor in and this will be a girl running too and from the camera, as she gets further away from the camera it shows time moving on. I will use props such as clocks to show different times and hours. I will film one clock and edit this again so that it seems like the hands are constantly moving and time is going really fast.
I feel the best way to capture this song is focus on the theme of time and express how important this is.

Research into CD covers

The back of the CD cover has the same themes as the front does with regards to colour. The back has a list of the tracks on this CD which in this case is not many as it is a CD cover for a single track.

Research into target audiences

This Questionnaire gives some positive results for the music video I am planning to make. 5 out of the 8 people in my questionnaire preferred cartoon/animated music videos to the actual band performing and this was from both males and females.
7 out of my 8 people have easy access to music videos which is good as I will be making one and would want as many people to see it as possible.
The Music video made for the song 'Take On Me' by AHA was liked by 6 out the 8 people asked. I am planning to make a video using some of the techniques used in that music video.
Target audience for a cartoon video is people from any age up to about 50, as long as rhe video contains mature themes adults will be interested in watching it.
